Pale Waves have had to cancel the remainder of their North America tour.
In a Twitter post, singer Heather confirmed that the decision had been reached following issues with their tour bus company. The band and their crew had previously suffered a bus crash when on tour back in 2020.
She explained: “The tour bus company fucked us over and sent us a bus that wasn’t safe and a driver who had zero experience of driving tour buses. After the bus crash in 2020 obviously safety is our main priority so that everyone is able to tour feeling safe and to continue to keep playing everyone every night however in this circumstance no one felt safe. I’ve spent the last two days calling hundreds of bus companies and no one has anything available. We’re so heartbroken that this is the case as our favourite thing in the world is to play shows and to meet everyone. We’re working on new dates asap.”
The group had been due to play 14 more dates across the US and Canada.
