Palm trees ahoy, Wylderness have dropped a video for their new track ’72 & Sunny’

The song was recorded with producer Rory Atwell, you know.
Wylderness recently shared their debut single, ’72 & Sunny’ – and now they’ve a video for it, too.

Released in October via Succulent Recordings and recorded with producer Rory Atwell, it’s one of the first tracks the band wrote, and an early taste of the Cardiff/London-based group’s self-titled debut album, due for release in early 2018.

“When we began working on this song, we had the guitars really loud and the vocals were barely audible,” the band explain. “We wanted to recreate that in the studio to give it all a dreamy hallucinogenic feel. It’s about the Welsh exodus to Patagonia. The lyrics are like fragments of a conversation between two people debating whether to set sail to this unknown land in search for a utopia that might be real or imagined.”
