Is this a snippet of new Paramore music?

Fans have found twelve seconds of what sounds like it could be new music, and it sounds fantastic.

As you may know, Dear Reader, Paramore have been teasing and sneaking about the internet over the last week or so.

First we noticed, they changed their profile pictures on social media accounts. Then, old posts started to disappear. New era? With their forthcoming sixth album expected at some point ‘soon’, it certainly seemed as such.

Then followed a reboot of the band’s website, confirming they’d set up an official Discord server. After some clowning around by the fans flocking to it, a hint at some new music was, possibly, uncovered.

And now it looks like they’ve happened across some more. So, is this Paramore’s big comeback single? Or at least twelve seconds of it? Probably, right?

And it certainly sounds like the same song we got in ‘the other clip’ from the end of last week.

Excuse us. We need a sit down. Could this be what we’re getting on the next date highlighted on that promotional calendar positioned on the band’s homepage? It is set for a New Music Friday, after all?

Only yesterday, Paramore announced two new LA shows.

Taking place on October 20th and 27th at The Wiltern and The Belasco respectively, a portion of ticket sales will be donated to Support + Feed, which “takes action for a global shift to an equitable, plant-based food system to combat food insecurity and the climate crisis”.

The dates are in addition to an existing run in October and November, calling off in Bakersfield, Magna, Omaha, Oklahoma City, Austin, Chesterfield, Bonner Springs, Toronto, Chicago, Cincinnati, Atlanta and St Augustine.
