Liverpool newcomers Paris Youth Foundation have dropped their newest single, an ode to the capital appropriately titled ‘London’.
Following on from singles ‘Lost Cause’ and ‘Missing the Mark’, ‘London’ spends four minutes sparkling and shimmering like lights on the skyline, matching stadium anthem with solid gold indie banger status.
Lead singer Kevin Potter says: “’London’ is a song that means an awful lot to me. It’s the story of a long-distance breakup and is probably as personal as I’ve ever been. It’s a song that wears its heart on its sleeve. The song was built around the line ‘Does London love you as much as I do’. That line is the reason this song exists.”
Since playing their debut show at last year’s Reading Festival, the band have gone on to play Live At Leeds, The Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City, and tour alongside Dork faves Blaenavon, The Magic Gang and INHEAVEN.
Catch them live at Liverpool’s Buyer’s Club on 16th December.
