Party Hardly premiere new song ‘Friendly Feeling’: “It’s about an Alien love affair”

Add this one to your indie bangers playlist.
Leeds-based four-piece Party Hardly drop their new single ‘Friendly Feeling’ next week (25th November). A catchy, lighthearted take on romance, it’s premiering here on Dork – give it a listen below.

“‘Friendly Feeling’ is a story about an Alien love affair,” says guitarist and vocalist Tom Barr, “the song is essentially about grabbing your honey and having a damn good time, but it’s also an ode to the good, bad, the weird, wonderful and strange bits that go along with relationships.

“For me it’s weird to think that most of us pair up and spend the rest of our days with someone sharing and creating life. We wondered – how would we be perceived by other animals, creatures, beings if they had a consciousness similar to ours?”
