Pavement are reforming to play Primavera Sound 2020

They'll be their only two shows of next year, apparently.

Pavement are returning to active service next year, with the announcement they’ll be playing Primavera Sound 2020.

Formed in 1989 before splitting in 1999 and reforming in 2009, it makes sense 2019 should come with news of their reformation, with the new dates badged as a celebration of their 30th anniversary.

A flyer was circulated around this year’s festival, revealing the legendary band would be playing next year’s event. It stated the dates will be the “only two worldwide shows of Pavement in 2020” in Barcelona and Porto.

So that’ll be nice.
