Pavement are set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of debut album ‘Slanted & Enchanted’ with a new reissue.
Due to arrive on 12th August via Matador, it will include a replica of the original demo cassette the band sent out to prospective record labels, titled ‘Courting Shutdown Offers’.
Pavement’s Stephen Malkmus and Spiral Stairs will also be speaking with host Matt Sweeney for a new episode of The Matador Revisionist History Podcast.
The reissue follows up on their deluxe edition of 1999 album ‘Terror Twilight’, which arrived earlier this month. Pavement are set to head out on a reunion tour across North America and Europe, starting with Primavera Sound on 2nd June.
