We thought things were supposed to rise again at Easter, but it looks like Peace are making a Christmas comeback.
Eagle eyed fans (and, erm, magazines. Hi – Ed) have spotted an advert in the latest edition of The Big Issue. In you turn to page 40, you’ll find a quarter page featuring the band’s iconic logo, and a message.
‘Casting call for Peace fans,” it reads.
“The musical artist professionally known as Peace needs YOU to be part of live shows scheduled for 2023. If you are energetic, amused and happy to support Peace you are the perfect supernumerary for the new live show. Let’s have a good time.”
It’s then followed by a phone number to leave a message (01598 7414411 – we’ve not been able to get through yet – Ed), and a Spotify scan code for the band’s profile.
And if you needed further proof – above and beyond this Actual Proof – Peace even told us to look for it earlier this month.
Peace’s most recent album, ‘Kindness is the New Rock and Roll’ was released in May of 2018. Next year will mark a decade since they dropped their debut, ‘In Love’
