PETS debut fizz-popping new single, ‘Colours’

Have a listen to the band's suitably summery new single.
South Coast four-piece PETS have dropped their new single ‘Colours’ – check it out below, first on Dork. A kaleidoscope of summery sounds and dazzling pop melodies, it’s a track about staying true to yourself.

“’Colours’ is a song about how everyone can feel a little out of place sometimes,” explains frontman Sam McCarthy. “We maybe change our behaviour, to the people we are around or the places/situations we are in. Sometimes it can be something ever so slight, like a tiny change in accent or slang. Like the chameleon, we adapt to our background. I feel everyone does this, at least a little. ‘Colours’ is about trying to find that time or place, when you aren’t trying to be anyone else but yourself – ‘All the times when we’re alone, Transparent is the way we feel.’ “

‘Colours’ follows on from debut single, ‘If It’s for Sale’.
