Phoebe Bridgers has released her annual Christmas track, ‘So Much Wine’

The track joins Phoebe's yearly tradition of releasing a festive track.

Phoebe Bridgers has added another track to her Christmas song collection with ‘So Much Wine’, a cover of The Handsome Family.

After a busy year of a headline tour and festival sets, things are starting to settle down for Phoebe as we reach the festive season, and the track has landed just in time. It follows previous Christmas releases like 2020’s ‘If We Make It Through December’ EP and last year’s ‘Day After Tomorrow’.

It’s one of few new tracks from the artist this year, and follows news that 2023 looks set to be jam-packed as Phoebe will support Taylor Swift on her gigantic Eras Tour.

All proceeds from the track will be going to the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the world’s largest LGBT nonprofit.

The track is produced by Phoebe in collaboration with Tony Berg and Ethan Gruska, and features Marshall Vore, Harrison Whitford, Sebastian Steinberg and Paul Mescal, with vocals, violin and whistling from Andrew Bird.

In similarly festive spirits, Phoebe has also been confirmed to be joining Danny Elfman and voice Sally in ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas Live’ for two UK shows at London’s OVO Arena Wembley next month. Tickets are available here.
