Phoenix release new single, ‘Alpha Zulu’

They are currently in the studio working on their next album.

Phoenix are back, with the release of their new track, ‘Alpha Zulu’.

They last released their sixth studio album ‘Ti Amo’ back in 2017 and dropped a stand-alone song for the soundtrack to On The Rocks back in 2020.

The title and lyric ‘Alpha Zulu’ comes from a phrase Phoenix front man Thomas Mars heard a pilot repeating over the radio during a turbulent flight in a storm. The urgency of the phrase stayed with him, and the band’s new song was born.

The group are in the studio currently, finishing up their next album, with more info on that to follow soon.
