Pop emergency! The 1975 are dropping ‘If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)’ next week!

23rd April 2020 is now International Megabop Day.

We’ve waited patiently, Dear Reader. You have too. Sat in our homes, staring at the walls, dreaming of sunlit meadows and lusty sax solos. But rejoice! The day is nearly upon us. While our bodies may remain strapped to the sofa, our imaginations will run free – skipping in the glow of a bop so bright sunglasses are required.

TL;DR, The 1975 are dropping ‘If You’re Too Shy (Let Me Know)’ next week.

For those not planning their lives around the arrival of Matty and co’s latest single, a quick catch up. Debuted on the first night of their UK tour back in February, ‘Too Shy’ almost immediately stole the show. The 1975 being more The 1975-y than ever before, it’s a song basking in neon lights and dry ice. Demands for the final recorded version were immediate, and haven’t slowed down since.

Now, it’s almost upon us. Set to arrive on 23rd April, it’s taken from the band’s forthcoming fourth album ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’, due for release on 22nd May. You can check out the live version of the track below.
