PVA have released their BBC Radio 1 live performance of Big Thief’s ‘Not’.

The new audio follows the recent release of their debut LP, ‘Blush’. Dork’s 5-star review of the album said, “the record drags listeners to the edge of a cliff and prompts them to scream with joy into an empty void”. “We wanted it to sound like a true statement of intent for PVA,” vocalist Ella Harris told Dork in the recent interview feature, which you can read online here.

Harris recently joined her bandmates, Josh Baxter and Louis Satchell, for a live performance of ‘Hero Man’ on BBC’s staple tastemaker show, ‘Later with Jools Holland’. The dance trio are now concluding their UK tour dates with a headline slot at London’s Village Underground tomorrow night, November 3rd.

Their cover of Big Thief’s ‘Not’ – taken from the American indie rocker’s 2019 LP, ‘Two Hands’ – was recorded for a ‘Future Artists’ session for BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders.

You can listen to PVA’s rendition of ‘Not’ here.
