PWR BTTM have been dropped by their management following assault allegations

Accusations started surfacing online Thursday morning.
Thursday morning (11th May), allegations surfaced online accusing PWR BTTM’s Ben Hopkins of being “a known sexual predator [and] perpetrator of multiple assaults.”

The duo released a statement claiming the “allegations come as a surprise” and that “the alleged behavior is not representative of who Ben is and the manner in which they try to conduct themselves.”

Following the statement, further accusations have been made, a member of their touring band has quit, other bands have pulled out of their gigs, sets have been cancelled, and they’ve been dropped by their management.

The June issue of Dork also features an interview with PWR BTTM and a review of their new album. These were conducted, written and printed before this week’s allegations, and would not have been included otherwise.
