Queens of the Stone Age have new material imminent

There'll be a new single before July, says Josh Homme.
Queens of the Stone Age are going to release a new single prior to their summer tour of Australia, the band’s Josh Homme has revealed.

In a new interview with Australian news site news.com.au, he also confirms that their upcoming album – the unannounced follow up to 2013’s ‘…Like Clockwork’ – won’t feature any guest appearances, dispelling recent rumours that Dave Grohl would appear.

He wouldn’t however elaborate on a last week’s mysterious teaser posted on the band’s socials, featuring the phrase “Coming Twenty Five”…
