Rachel Chinouriri ruminates on falling out of love, with her new single ‘Give Me A Reason’

She's a new video, too.

Rachel Chinouriri has released her new single, ‘Give Me A Reason’.

The track was written by Rachel and produced by previous collaborator Hylnu, alongside Oli Bayston (Kelly Lee Owens, Loyle Carner, Petite Noir) and Tom Henry.

Speaking about the new single, Rachel explains: “‘Give Me A Reason’ is about love and whether it’s enough to hold together a relationship. Can you leave someone you love without them giving you a reason? Can you fall out of love without then doing anything wrong? Coming to terms with the idea of breaking someone’s heart, who has given you everything is incredibly difficult, but maybe there is more out there for you in this world.”

Of the video, she adds: “For the video Rob Akin directed, I wanted to show my version of this relationship in an honest form and contrast it with a dream world of glamour and ambition.”
