Radiohead score a Number 1 with new album ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ (obviously)

The band are also commissioning vignettes inspired by the release.
Radiohead’s ninth album ‘A Moon Shaped Pool’ has entered the Official Albums Chart at Number 1.

The band’s new record dropped last Sunday, and has over 50,000 combined sales. It’s their sixth chart-topping full-length.

Skepta’s ‘Konnichiwa’ has landed at Number 2, while Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ is now at 3. James Blake’s surprise release ‘The Colour In Anything’ is at 13, and Andy Black’s ‘The Shadow Side’ is at 16.

Radiohead have also asked “some people to make short vignettes interpreting sections of our new record” – the first of which comes from audiovisual composer and computer programmer Tarik Barri. Watch here.
