Radiohead tease ‘OK Computer’ related stuff

The album turns 20 this month.
A year on from their fade out that ended with ‘A Moon Shaped Pool‘, Radiohead are once again on the tease.

Around the world, a series of Radiohead-esque posters have been popping up but now the band have gone for a more direct approach. Sharing a video featuring remixed lyrics to ‘OK Computer‘s ‘Climbing Up The Walls‘, it seems the band are definitely up to something and it’ll probably revolve around the 20th anniversary of ‘OK Computer’.

“I am the key to lock in your dress

That keeps your toys in the basement

And if you get too far inside

You’ll find you came out where you went in

So tuck the kids in safe tonight

And shut the eyes in the cupboard

I am the weapon that you needed

Keep an eye out for the neighbours

Anywhere you turn

I’ll be there

Open your skull

I’ll be there

Climbing up the walls”

And we’re not the only ones getting emotional.

The band’s long-term collaborator is also getting in on the hype. Not only has Stanley Donwood been posting lots of pictures of scaffolding, there’s this image from last month which shouldn’t take a genius to decipher.

soon to be real
