Rat Boy was a question on The Chase, obviously

Or maybe that should be 'Squirrel Boy' from now on. He is nuts, after all.
How do you know an act has made it? A big track? A huge live show? A chart blasting album? Nah. None of that. It’s when they appear as a question on a telly show.

That’s what’s happened to Rat Boy. Quite why someone thought ‘yeah, that’s a great idea’ to sticking beat breaking indie’s enfant terrible into a daytime quiz is anyone’s guess, but he’s popped up as a question on ITV’s The Chase. To be fair to Jordan, he seems just as baffled as the rest of us.

Still, at least it looks like the contestant got it right. It’d be awful if we had to refer to him as Squirrel Boy for the next twelve months, wouldn’t it?

Rat Boy dropped a new track, ‘Lovers Law’, earlier this week. You can check that out here or on our Spotify Brand New Bangers playlist. He followed it up with a drop into Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show to play a short set. You can check that out below.
