Reading & Leeds is currently definitely going ahead

Which, y'know, it would be until it wasn't. But still! Good news!

Reading & Leeds 2020 is definitely going ahead “as planned”.

That’s the message sent out to ticket holders, following a whole slew of cancellations and postponements in recent days due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

“At this time, Reading/Leeds Festival is going ahead as planned,” the message reads. “Please be assured that the safety and health of all staff and visitors is our main priority and we are implementing recommendations and instructions appropriately.

“We are closely monitoring official guidance from the World Health Organisation, Public Health England, UK Government, local public health authorities and are working with event promoters and organisers as information evolves.”

Reading & Leeds 2020 is set to be headlined by Liam Gallagher, Stormzy and Rage Against The Machine, with appearances from the likes of Sam Fender, Rex Orange County, Declan McKenna, girl in red, Sports Team, Beabadoobee and loads more.
