Ready, Set, AIM! All the updates from the AIM Awards 2018

We’re down at the London shindig to keep you up to date with the biggest indie party of the year

Better watch out. Better not cry. Better not pout and we’re telling you why – and it’s not because we’re already singing Christmas songs. The AIM Awards are coming to town!

That’s right, the biggest night in indie (aside from that time we all went down to the disco and wanted to bellow out The Wombats Karaoke) is back and bigger than even – taking place in the heart of London tonight (September 4th) with a bunch of brilliant awards going out all over the place!

Recognising an array of independent labels leading the way, it’s a night that shines a light on some of the bloody best artists of the past 12 months – with band of the moment IDLES leading the charge with four nominations, alongside the likes of Dork faves Let’s Eat Grandma, Wolf Alice, Shame, Superorganism, Confidence Man, Christine and the Queens, Goat Girl and loads more! Not bad eh, not bad at all

We’re going to be down with our popcorn and biscuits to keep you updated with all the goings on – who knows we might cause a bit of a ruckus and let off some party poppers in excitement.

Keep an eye right here later for the most enthusiastic coverage of the night
