Redcar – AKA Christine and the Queens – delays album release and shows following injury

Redcar – the central character of Christine and the Queens’ new project – has delayed the release of his forthcoming album ‘Redcar les adorables √©toiles’, after suffering an injury in rehearsals last week.

A statement shared on social media explains that Chris – who performs under the character of Redcar as part of the project – “injured himself on stage while dancing.”

“The doctors have forbidden him to return to the stage for at least three weeks, the time to recover,” the statement continues. “We are therefore obliged to cancel the concert in Arles on 17 September and to postpone the concerts in Paris and London.”

That means the album also moves back from its 23rd September release date to 11th November.
