Rihanna has released ‘Life Me Up’, the lead single from Marvel’s ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.
Previously revealed via social media teasers, the fresh ballad arrived today, October 28th, and marks the singer’s first new original release since her 13-track LP, ‘ANTI’, back in 2016.
‘Life Me Up’ is the lead single from the upcoming soundtrack for Marvel’s ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’. Written by Tems, Oscar winner Ludwig Göransson, Rihanna, and director Ryan Coogler, the track offers tribute to the legacy of Chadwick Boseman who unexpectedly passed away in 2020.
The original ‘Black Panther’ film soundtrack included contributions from Kendrick Lamar, Jorja Smith, and Travis Scott. With Rihanna leading the charge, it seems that its sequel will boast a similarly star-studded tracklist when it arrives on November 11th.
