Ruel has returned with a brand new track, ‘YOU AGAINST YOURSELF’

It's one of over 100 new songs he's written over the past two and a half years, apparently.

Ruel has returned with a brand new track, ‘YOU AGAINST YOURSELF’.

Following up on recent efforts ‘GROWING UP IS _‘ and ‘LET THE GRASS GROW’, a press release explains Ruel has spent the last two and a half years writing and recording over 100 new songs, which (presumably after a bit of an edit down – Ed) will come together to form a forthcoming album.

“’YAY’ is about someone in my life who has lots of self-destructing qualities,” Ruel explains. “It’s about that feeling of reaching out to them to let them know the direction they’re heading in isn’t healthy and even though it seems like there’s little hope and you feel helpless, you’re still rooting for them.”
