Tease no longer, Run The Jewels will be dropping their hotly anticipated new album ‘RTJ3’ in January.
The LP, officially landing on January 13th, has been on the tips of many a tongue over the past year and will be made available online as a free download. Set to include already revealed tracks ‘Talk To Me’ and ‘2100’ – the duo of Killer Mike and El-P have also revealed a fresh new number today in the shape of ‘Legend Has It’
Speaking about the album, Run The Jewels said:
“Holy Shit. We can’t believe we get to finally write this to you… RTJ3 IS READY!!!! After a straight year of work the next chapter in this madness is done. We’ll spare you too much talk but we will say this: thank you so much for making RUN THE JEWELS the most amazing experience either of us have had in our careers. We hope you feel the love and time we put in to this record and can’t wait to share it with you and see you out on the road. Whether you buy it, download it for free, steal it from your annoying cousin or hear it at a show, just know that we are eternally grateful for the love you’ve shown us. Thank you thank you thank you”
With ‘RTJ3’ boasting appearances from the likes of Danny Brown, TV On The Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe and Kamasi Washington amongst others, you just know it’s going to be great. And we’re going to play it so loud that we’re probably going to get a knock on the door telling us to turn it down.
