Run The Jewels debut intense new track ‘2100’

It’s another storming new cut from the anticipated ‘Run The Jewels 3’
Given recent events, we need a brutal reality-check – and that’s exactly what Run The Jewels have provided with new number ‘2100’.

Featuring regular collaborator Boots on vocal duty, Killer Mike and El-P trade real world rhymes full of emotion, fury and hope – in a way that’s made Run The Jewels a real beacon over the past few years. It’s a hot fire mover for sure.

Revealing the track online, the duo dedicated it to “everyone who is hurting or scared right now” – explaining that the track was written months ago and wasn’t originally meant to be released until further down the line.

“We weren’t planning on releasing it yet but… well, it feels right now” explained the duo, “It’s about fear and it’s about love and it’s about wanting more for all of us”

The track is the second chunk of new music heard from Run The Jewels in the past month or so, after the release of blistering single ‘Talk To Me’ in October. Both tracks are set to land on their upcoming third studio album, helpfully titled ‘Run The Jewels 3’.
