We’re still wrapped up in Ryan Adams’ gorgeous new album ‘Prisoner’, but Ryan ain’t waiting around – delivering a spine-tingling version of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Streets Of Philadelphia’.
Recorded and performed for BBC 6 Music as a part of their 1994 day, it’s a mesmerising cut that has us weeping all over the keyboard in unfiltered emotional bliss. And that’s what we cool a bloody brilliant weekday.
The version comes fresh from the release of Ryan Adams’ latest studio album ‘Prisoner’ – released earlier in the month. Ryan will be back on UK soil to headline Green Man in August, before a string of headline shows in September (including a little ‘ol night at London’s Royal Albert Hall – y’know, no biggy)
