Ryan Adams new album ‘Prisoner’ is streaming online

Mr Adams’ sixteenth album is set for official release on Friday (February 17th)
We can sometimes get a bit impatient waiting for fresh music Fridays, so our mate Ryan Adams has gone and unveiled his new album ‘Prisoner’ a few days early – just because he’s an all-round nice chap.

‘Prisoner’ is Ryan’s sixteenth studio album, and features the already unveiled new numbers ‘Do You Still Love Me?’, ‘Doomsday’ and ‘To Be Without You’ – proving that this LP could one of his most heart-breaking and powerful records to date.

Speaking about the album back in December, Ryan said that “it broke my soul in a zillion pieces writing this. This record mattered to be more than any record before it and my life depended on making it. I would of died inside if I hadn’t. I was broken. I don’t know what it is. But I know I had to write it and I know I have to sing these songs so I can live and keep living and breathing.”

Ryan Adams is set to return to the UK to headline this year’s Green Man Festival, set to take place between August 17th – 20th.

Stream ‘Prisoner’ ahead of its Friday release (February 17th), right ‘ere.
