Sadie Dupuis is bringing Sad13 to the UK in May

  • Dork News Desk
  • April 2, 2017
Sadie Dupuis’s Sad13 is coming to the UK in May, for a string of UK headline shows

After releasing her debut solo album under the moniker last year, Sadie will be bringing the full weight of ‘Slugger’ to shows in Bristol, Guildford, Brighton, Leeds, Glasgow and Manchester – before a final night headlining London’s Boston Music Rooms on May 25th.

Speaking with Dork last year, Sadie gave some details of what to expect from the shows. “I’m going to be playing with a band. I did play solo last week, but there’s nothing I hate more. It makes me so scared, I say yes to it so infrequently that I forget how much I freak out. I play in front of 10,000 people with Speedy, and I played last night in a kitchen with 20 people, and I was dripping sweat, shaking and I couldn’t look at the few people in the kitchen. It makes me upset, so I’m happy I’m doing the Sad 13 stuff with a band.”

Explaining how the wheels are in-motion on the new Speedy Ortiz album and more, you can check out the full chat here.

Tickets for the Sad13 shows are on sale now, with the full details right after the jump,
