Sam Fender has won the award for Best Rock / Alternative at this year’s BRIT Awards.

He took the prize ahead of Coldplay, Glass Animals, Tom Grennan and Wolf Alice.

Sammy has had an exceptional few months, building on the success of his debut album ‘Hypersonic Missiles’. He kicked off his current campaign in July 2021 with the release of the single ‘Seventeen Going Under’, which recently became a TikTok fave.  The track served as the lead single from the album of the same name, which was released in October 2021.

And that’s all just the start for him, who is also set to play a MASSIVE gig in London’s Finsbury Park in July 2022 with support from Fontaines D.C and Declan McKenna to name but a few.

This year’s BRIT Awards ceremony takes place at London’s O2 Arena, with performances from the likes of Adele, Liam Gallagher, Little Simz, Holly Humberstone and Sam Fender.
