Sam Fender, Foals, Billie Eilish and more will take to the stage at Reading & Leeds 2023

  • December 9, 2022

Reading & Leeds have dropped their first wave of names for 2023, with all six Main Stage headliners now confirmed.

After two years of a double headliner set up across Main Stage East and West, the festival will return with six big names across the weekend. Sam Fender will make his headline debut at the festival after a mammoth tour that has spanned the better part of the last two years since releasing ‘Seventeen Going Under’, and he is joined on the same night by Foals, who make a long-awaited return to the festival.

I first went to Leeds festival 10 years ago as a teenager, me and Deano spent the entire week launching hot dogs out of a gazebo pole at random crowds of lads chanting ‘Yorkshire Yorkshire’. One night I was out cold in my tent from necking a bottle of vodka at… pic.twitter.com/I8uQC2pz9V

Elsewhere, it’s a double bill of The Killers, fresh from a sold out stadium tour and Lewis Capaldi, who is gearing up to release his second album, with Billie Eilish and Imagine Dragons rounding out the six. Having had one of the biggest crowds back in 2019, Billie’s turn to take that prestigious headline slot has been a long time coming, and her Glastonbury headline set last year proves she’s sure to deliver an incendiary set.

Further down the lineup, the likes of Loyle Carner, Inhaler, MUNA and Baby Queen find themselves gearing up to play the festival.

General sale tickets and instalment plans will be available from 9am GMT on Monday 12th December here. There is also a Barclaycard and Three customer presale, beginning at 9am on Friday 9th December.

You can check out the full lineup so far below.
