Sam Fender has dropped a new video, and extended his upcoming headline tour

He's a new date at Shepherd's Bush Empire.

Sam Fender has released a new video for his track ‘Play God’, check it out below.

Director Haycock (Lana Del Rey, Florence & The Machine) says of the clip: “Play God is a satirical interpretation of power. The story is set in a dystopian world of exaggerated tropes – masculinity, domination, sexual objectification, racial profiling, and others. Each scene plays with these dangerous fictions – overt ideas of power and fear. In the end, we break the 4th wall, and the character is observed as nothing more than a player of a game.

“I wanted to blur the line between fiction and reality as a way to express the everyday ways we all play god.”

He’s also extended his upcoming UK tour with an extra night at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. The run will now visit:

MAY
2 Manchester, Ritz
3 Glasgow, QMU
6 London, Shepherds Bush Empire
7 London, Shepherds Bush Empire (NEW)
10 Birmingham, Institute
12 Exeter, Lemon Grove
13 Bristol, SWX
