Sam Smith has announced two new dates for their Australian tour later this year, after the Melbourne and Sydney stops of ‘GLORIA the tour’ sold out shortly after tickets went on sale.

The new shows will take place at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena for November 1st and November 4th respectively.

The tour is to support Smith’s upcoming fourth studio album, ‘Gloria’, set to arrive on January 27th.

The album has been previewed with three singles so far: ‘Love Me More’ in April 2022, the Kim Petras collaboration ‘Unholy’ in September, and ‘Gimme’ with Koffee and Jessie Reyez last week. ‘Unholy’ was one of the most successful singles of 2022, topping the charts in 20 countries – including Australia and New Zealand.

“It has been magical in every way to make this piece of music and by giving this record to you I am giving you part of my heart and soul,” Smith said when announcing the album last year. “‘Gloria’ got me through some dark times and was a beacon for me in my life. I hope it can be that for you.”

The dates now read:

OCTOBER
28 – Adelaide, Entertainment Centre
31 – Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena – SOLD OUT

NOVEMBER
1 – Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena – NEW SHOW
3 – Sydney, Qudos Bank Arena – SOLD OUT
4 – Sydney, Qudos Bank Arena – NEW SHOW
8 – Brisbane, Entertainment Centre
11 – Auckland, Spark Arena
