The EP will be released on 12th December via Adventure Recordings.

Artists: Sean Trelford

Sean Trelford has announced his debut EP, ‘Ulcer’, set for release on 12th December via Adventure Recordings / Island.

The EP includes five tracks, with a bonus track, ‘Bella’, available on vinyl. In conjunction with the announcement, Trelford has released a new track titled ‘Left Out’.

Trelford describes ‘Ulcer’ as a concept EP exploring the complexities of communication and the nuances of interpersonal relationships. “Ulcer is a concept EP about the pain of speech, of the voice, resentful feelings towards conflict that have failed only because of lacking conviction,” he explains.

Of the new single, he adds: “‘Left Out’ is a song I wrote in June 2024 about feeling left out. I was in a social circle in school that spread nasty things about me and I felt very isolated and lonely. I made this song as a medicine for myself to deal with those feelings.”

The tracklisting for ‘Ulcer’ reads:

‘I Should’ve Known’
‘Naked’
‘Sticks and Stones’
‘Left Out’
‘You’re So Beautiful’
‘Bella (Vinyl exclusive)’
