Self Esteem has dropped a new version of her ‘Prioritise Pleasure’ track, ‘Fucking Wizardry’.
The ‘Block Them Edit’ of the track was given a first spin last night on Clara Amfo’s BBC Radio 1.
The original version is taken from the critically acclaimed full-length, which is up for this year’s Mercury Prize.
“Here is my new single ‘Fucking Wizardry – Block Them Edit’,” Self Esteem explains. “It’s a song about trusting and believing in what you already know. If it feels like someone is taking the piss, they usually are. Not to be all ‘you deserve better’ about it but it’s very likely you do, indeed deserve better.”
