Shame deliver a venomous scorcher with new cut ‘Tasteless’

  • Dork News Desk
  • March 9, 2017
Bursting with the unmissable energy that has flowed through their renowned live shows, Shame have delivered a golden serving of immediate punk royalty with new one ‘Tasteless’

Ripping straight into another league, we can already see bellowing masses joining in on the “I like it better when you’re not around” chant, ready-made for the stages about to bear witness to one of the most vital live bands of the moment.

It stands as another step for a band whose early days spent in the pubs and sights of South London have well and truly made them into a force to be reckoned. We found out about that and more when we chatted to frontman Charlie Steen in last month’s magazine – which you can check out here.

Shame will spend the year playing a slew of huge live dates, with a headline London show lined up for The Dome in Tufnell Park on May 11 sitting alongside confirmed festival slots at Are You Listening? Festival, LeeFest Presents: The Neverland and Reading & Leeds amongst many more.

Have a bite of ‘Tasteless’ below. Believe us, it’s incredibly moreish.

Shame’s full run of headline dates look like:

APRIL

25 LIVERPOOL Magnet

26 GLASGOW Broadcast

27 MIDDLESBROUGH Westgarth Social Club

MAY

01 NOTTINGHAM Bodega Social Club

03 BIRMINGHAM Sunflower Lounge

04 OXFORD Cellar

06 CARDIFF Clwb Ifor Bach

07 EXETER Phoenix

08 BRISTOL Crofters Rights

09 GUILDFORD The Boileroom

10 SOUTHAMPTON Joiners

11 LONDON The Dome Tufnell Park
