They're asking for music fans to share the news and show support.

Sheffield’s The Leadmill has revealed they’ve been informed by their landlords they will be evicted in a year’s time.

Posting to social media, they explain: “Today we have received some devastating news that in 1 year’s time, our Landlord is evicting us and forcing us to close.

Established in 1980, The Leadmill is a key stop on the UK touring circuit.

“The Leadmill has spent millions of pounds on what was a derelict warehouse, transforming it into one of the UK’s most respected venues where countless acts from across the globe have performed over the years,” they go on to explain.

“Please show your support by sharing this news & sending us your best memories that we can gather to help display all the reasons why #WeCantLoseLeadmill”
