The Shins drop new track, ‘Dead Alive’

It's an early Halloween treat prior to the band's new album.
Earlier this week The Shins started teasing fans that something new was afoot, posting a short clip on their socials, featuring 42 seconds of jumpy footage and bizarre visuals.

Now they’ve revealed what they’re up to: it’s “a halloween gift while you wait for the album”, in the form of new song ‘Dead Alive’, streaming below. The band first aired the track live, performing it both at this year’s End Of The Road Festival and their Village Underground show in September.

The Shins are currently working on the follow up to 2012’s ‘Port of Morrow’.
