Show Me The Body aren’t playing Coachella apparently

  • Dork News Desk
  • January 4, 2017
Coachella this year looks very good.

Radiohead are topping the bill (and when aren’t Radiohead great) alongside the ever-brilliant Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar. Lorde makes her return alongside fellow New Zealand banger buddies Broods. Hinds, Father John Misty, The xx, we could go on all day.

But if you were buying a ticket just to see Show Me The Body, we wouldn’t bother. Turns out the New York trio aren’t playing despite their name appearing on the poster. Trust us, it’s there somewhere near the bottom.

Taking to Twitter the band explain, “We never agreed to play Coachella. We were offered but we said no. Hopefully Goldenvoice and Coachella will not exploit our name. OR GIVE US ALL THE MONEY.”

UPDATE: We never agreed to play Coachella. We were offered but we said no. Hopefully @goldenvoice and @coachella will not exploit our name.
