Sick Joy are the latest band to join the line-up for 2000trees this summer.

The band follow up on yesterday’s reveal of The Regrettes for the festival as part of the annual 7 Days of Trees campaign, with other names already announced including Puppy, Calva Louise and Strange Bones, as they unveil a new act every day across a week.

They join headliners Jimmy Eat World, Thrice, Turnstile and IDLES, as well as PUP, Rolo Tomassi, The Chats, Laura Jane Grace, and loads more.

Speaking about the announcement, the band told Upset they’re not just looking forward to the festival – there’s new music coming later this year too.

“We’ve got a bunch of singles coming out over the next few months and the album later in the year,” they explain. “That’s been done for a while writing-wise, though, so we’re carving out stuff for the second album when we’re together.”

2000trees will take place from 7th-9th July. You can grab tickets here.
