Sigrid has released a new video for her latest hit, ‘Sucker Punch’.
The track follows up on this summer’s ‘Raw’ EP, and comes ahead of a debut album expected to arrive in 2019.
“Sucker Punch is one of my favourite songs so far and I’ve been so excited for release day,” explains Sigrid. “Emily Warren, Martin Sjølie and I made it when we were in Ocean Sound Recordings in my hometown a while ago. The song is just a result of our usual way of working: talking, cooking, strolling, singing, dancing, experimenting…! Ugh it was so fun – just like the track itself.”
“The video is a bit mad, and that’s the whole point, as there’s a lot going on in the song,” she adds. “It’s filmed in London and the set design was so good, what a team. I hope people have fun watching it; and dance, sing and laugh. If you’re wondering if you can buy the Sigrid Tacos…we should make that happen!”
