Silverbacks announce debut album ‘Fad’ with new track ‘Muted Gold’

‘Fad’ lands on July 17th, produced by Girl Band’s Daniel Fox

Dublin’s Silverbacks have revealed details of their debut album, along with new track ‘Muted Gold’

A shuffling number full of tense push and pull, ‘Muted Gold’ leads the charge for ‘Fad’ – their full-length debut set to land on July 17th, produced by Girl Band’s Daniel Fox


‘Fad’ comes complete with a music video to boot – with Silverbacks’ Daniel O’Kelly commenting: “The video is loosely inspired by early Stereolab music videos. It’s a collection of clips from a few band outings we had near our practice space before the lockdown began. Fun fact, Peadar used to work in a bowling alley. Despite not having played in years he scored 192 on the day we brought the camera.”


Silverbacks are currently scheduled to tour the UK on a headline run from the end of August. Check out ‘Muted Gold’ in the meantime below:
