Skrillex fans have been eagerly awaiting a new album since his 2014 debut, ‘Recess’. Now it looks like their patience will be rewarded in 2023.
The DJ and From First To Last frontman recently confirmed that a new single, ’Rumble’ – featuring Fred again.. and Flowdan, will be released on January 4th. But that’s not all. Skrillex is also rumored to be releasing a double album this year.
The DJ posted a snippet of the music on social media, which was captioned “QFF/DGTC 2023.” While it’s unclear what “QFF” stands for, “DGTC” could be a reference to a tweet from October 2022 which said “Don’t get too close” (potentially the new album title).
Adding to the anticipation, Anthony Green, lead singer of Circa Survive/L.S. Dunes, reposted Skrillex’s tweet and wrote “Honored to be apart of this record. It’s a masterpiece. Thanks for letting me work on it with you.”

It’s been a long wait for Skrillex’s fans, but it looks like they won’t have to wait much longer.
