Sleater-Kinney have dropped a brand new track, ‘ANIMAL’

Off the back of latest full-length 'The Center Won't Hold' comes an entirely new cut.

Sleater-Kinney may just have just delivered a brand new album, but they’re already offering up something entirely fresh as a quick chaser.

Off the back of latest full-length ‘The Center Won’t Hold’ comes an entirely new cut, ‘ANIMAL’.

Corin Tucker explains, “ANIMAL is a song about rebellion, retaliation and rage. It is a song about letting go of all politeness and filters and letting the ‘animal’ side speak. The vocals for this song were recorded in St. Vincent’s home studio, a perfect place to unleash a voice like this.”

Sleater-Kinney return to the UK and Europe next year for a run of live shows throughout February and March. The tour includes shows in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin. You can find out the full details after the jump.
