Sleater-Kinney / REM supergroup Filthy Friends are dropping their debut album in August

REM / Sleater-Kinney / some others supergroup Filthy Friends are set to release their debut album later this summer.



The band consists of Sleater-Kinney​’s Corin Tucker, Kurt Bloch of The Fastbacks, King Crimson’s Bill Rieflin, Scott McCaughey of Young Fresh Fellows, and R.E.M. guitiarist Peter Buck. They’ll drop their first full-length on August 25th via Kill Rock Stars.
