Sløtface stream the addictive title track of new ‘Empire Records’ EP

The EP lands in its entirety next month, on 18th November.
Sløtface have shared the title-track of their new EP – listen to ‘Empire Records’ below. It’s an homage to both the iconic record store in the 90s film of the same name, and Nick Hornby’s High Fidelity, too.

“It’s pretty much a silly song about running away to dusty record stores when you’re sick of normal life,” explains vocalist Haley Shea. “I’ve always dreamed about working in a place like Empire Records or Championship Vinyl from High Fidelity. I just think record stores are magical places for people who love music and they make me very happy.”

The EP lands in its entirety next month, on 18th November, with the band touring the UK this week. They’ll play a four-date London residency followed by shows in Glasgow and Manchester. Catch them at:

OCTOBER

27 The Islington, London

28 The Finsbury, London

29 The Lock Tavern, London

NOVEMBER

01 The Victoria, London

03 Broadcast, Glasgow

04 Fallow Café, Manchester
