Freshly nominated for a 2019 Hyundai Mercury Prize, slowthai has shared a brand new video for ‘toaster’.
The nod is for ‘Nothing Great About Britain’, the much acclaimed debut album which was released earlier this year.
It’s from that record which ‘toaster’ is lifted, which now has a part-narrative, part-performance, docu-style video, which you can check out below. It features slowthai returning to his mum’s first home in Northampton, ‘FYI’.
slowthai will support Liam Gallagher on his UK area tour this October. Before that, he’ll set off on his own ‘Bet Ya A #5er’ headline tour, which includes a stop off at London’s Brixton Academy on 18th October.
