Snail Mail is previewing new album ‘Valentine’ with another fresh taster, ‘Madonna’

  • Stephen Ackroyd
  • October 27, 2021

Snail Mail has debuted another new track ‘Madonna’, the third preview from her forthcoming new album ‘Valentine’.

The full-length is set to arrive on 5th November and is teased by a new live performance of the track, filmed at the Armour-Stiner Octagon House in New York.

There’s also the full album version of ‘Madonna’ too. You can check out both below.

Snail Mail – AKA Lindsey Jordan – explains: “I am excited to share this one! In summation, it’s about why love can’t exist between a person and a concept of a person. Remove the pedestal and you might realize there was never anything there at all.”

‘Madonna’ follows up on the previously released ‘Ben Franklin’, and the album’s title track, ‘Valentine’. Snail Mail will be playing UK, European and US tour dates in 2021-2022. The UK leg kicks off 18th February at Manchester Academy 2, before visiting Glasgow and Bristol (get tickets here) and culminating at O2 Kentish Town Forum in London on 23rd February (get tickets here).

Snail Mail features in the new issue of Dork, out now. You can order a print copy here. Dork Supporters can read the full interview online now, here. If you’re not already a member, sign up here for early access, our full back catalogue of magazines, and more.
