Check out Snailbeach’s second single, the lush ‘Strangers’

Snailbeach has released a second single ‘Strangers’.

Snailbeach – AKA 23-year-old South Londoner Theo Williams – explains: “The song encapsulates a nostalgia – living “in the silent film of what has been” – and examines the bittersweetness of a breakup. It’s about the acceptance of becoming a stranger to someone you once shared everything with. It was recorded on tape and has a 1970s style of production which alongside the string countermelodies and incredibly personal lyrics, adds to this feeling of nostalgia. Think indie breakup film like ‘Submarine’ but condensed into three minutes of music.”

It follows up on debut single ‘Fireflies In The Sun’, and comes ahead of a debut EP that Theo has been working on alongside his band and producer Shuta Shinoda at Hackney Road Studios.
