So Father John Misty has confirmed that new album with a 25 minute short film

‘Pure Comedy’ is set for release on April 7th
After waltzing back into view with his state of the nation anthem ‘Pure Comedy’, Father John Misty has now officially confirmed a new album with a 25 minute short film.

‘Pure Comedy’ (the album), is set for release on April 7th and marks Father John’s (aka Josh Tillman) first album since the breakout 2015 classic ‘I Love You, Honeybear’. And how do you announce such a follow-up you ask – well try a 25 minute documentary covering the making of the album – featuring Father John painting, strolling and ending with LA seemingly going up in flames.
